Coding for Kids
Real Python, real object-oriented programming, real SQL — not drag-and-drop blocks a child outgrows in a month.
If dance, music, art and sports can start at an early age, then why not Engineering, Medical or Business?
About this course
Most coding courses for children stop at coloured blocks moving a cartoon across a screen. Children enjoy it, learn very little that transfers, and arrive at college having to start again.
This course teaches Python properly: the grammar of the language, control flow, data structures, functions and recursion, then object-oriented programming with classes, inheritance, overloading and exception handling. After that, web fundamentals in HTML and CSS, and data handling in SQL.
It is genuinely the same material a first-year computer science student meets, paced for a school child and taught live so nobody is left behind. A child who finishes this can write and read real programs.
